  16. University; in New Haven, Connecticut. Levin, dean of Yale's
  17. graduate schools, received a Ph.D. from the 292-year-old Ivy
  18. League university in 1974 and served as chairman of its
  19. economics department. Levin knew Bill Clinton slightly while
  20. they were both studying in England, and jokingly calls himself
  21. an "AOB"--Acquaintance of Bill.
